Twelve years ago the company where I work decided to outsource the majority of it’s IT operations and IBM won the contract to be the sole supplier of IT services. The team that I work for (I joined in March 2007) is part of IBM and provides a range of IT training services to the company.
In April 2011 the company decided to go for a multi-vendor solution and gave IBM notice of their intention. Tomorrow 11 months of uncertainty ends when my colleagues and I join Computacenter. Same job, same location but new employer.
